“The most friendly shop in the city and their staff care about what you are looking for. I was blown away when going to Ride Away Bikes yesterday. The staff was so welcoming and friendly, along with knowledgeable. Didn't rush me, showed me some awesome bikes and the shop just has good vibes. This was my first time going there, but this is now my local shop. Don't hesitate to go there! 10/10 would recommend!”

Amego Electric Vehicles - Electric Bikes & Scooter Toronto

Address: 533 Richmond St W #203, Toronto, ON M5V 3Y1, Canada

Bicycle store Car repair Store Point of interest Establishment

“A friendly and knowledgeable staff with a lot of first hand experience with their products. We went seeking a step-through pedal assist bike for commute/delivery purposes and were pleasantly surprised to learn that they build their Infinite model on-site. We found that very reassuring versus dealing with a bike supplier online where you're likely to get the run-around about warranties, part manufacturers and the usual pass-the-buck of responsibility when it comes to Customer Service. In addition the shop carries everything you need to be road-ready, from helmets to locks and bike accessories. The selection seems to be pretty curated - the fellas in the shop aren't going to sell you something they wouldn't use on their own bikes. Great experience overall, but I'll get back to you in two years when, I hope, my bike is still on the road!”

“Pedalinx is by far my favourite bike shop in Toronto. Great service, competitive prices, friendly and helpful staff, and a good selection of bikes, gear and components. My boyfriend and I have both purchased bikes (Specialized Crosstrail for him and Specialized Diverge for me) here and the ongoing support has been amazing. Plus, it’s nice to know your local bike guys and support a local shop! 11/10 recommend.”

The advice was so helpful to make the right choice and they were so friendly it made me feel like a friend giving advice. I’ll be going here from now on! Thank you!!”

Ride Away Bikes

Address: 816 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M6J 1V3, Canada

Bicycle store Store

“I had a wonderful experience buying a bike here. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and they had a great selection of used and new bikes between $200-550. They probably have more expensive bikes as well, but they never pressured me to increase my budget. As someone who hasn't owned a bike in 15 years, I found the process of searching for a bike to be pretty intimidating. Luckily, the staff at Ride Away Bikes was extremely patient and helpful. I wasn't sure what I was looking for and they let me test out several bikes, each time getting closer to what I wanted until we found a bike that was JUST RIGHT. I felt like Goldilocks, for real. I am thrilled about my bike, and most importantly, I feel confident that it was the right pick. So glad I went to Ride Away Bikes!”

La Carrera Cycles

“Nadir is amazing! When my wife and I were looking to buy a tandem bike, he took the time to find us whatever options he could — even calling a friend of his to see if they were interested in selling theirs. In the end, he opened an account with a vendor just to sell us the bike we ended up getting. Since then, the service has always been amazing and friendly. I’ll definitely be going back here for any future bike purchases.”

“Good service and honest pricing. Bought a handlebar grip tape for $10 and the quality was way way better that one I bought in amazon for $20. They also fixed my chain really quick which I stupidly routed it wrongly. I have been to other bike stores in town but this one is by far the best. The other store told me right away I need a new chain lol.”

It is a very refreshing experience after having experienced at least 6 bike shops with many disapointing experiences. I will be back even if the location is out of my way. Thanks for your help!”

Uncle Jacob

“Uncle Jacob's is a great place to visit if you're looking for a wide selection of bikes and fast and effective service. From what I've read, some people on here either aren't willing to have a little patience, don't want to take in second-hand bikes, or are perhaps unhappy with the service. I can't speak for others' experiences, but my time at Uncle Jacob's was efficient, respectful, professional, and it got the job done. Will be coming back!”

Fix Coffee + Bikes

Bicycle store Cafe Store

“Bike service = highly recommended. Three noteworthy things about my dealings with the bike service guys here. First, they were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Second, they didn’t charge me to put the tire on my rim (because despite my all efforts, I just couldn’t do it). And third, despite my proposing the idea of just buying a new tire altogether, they said I’d still get the rest of this season out of my current tire, and that I could come talk to them about a new tire come winter. In other words, they had the opportunity to sell me a tire—I was clearly ready to buy one—and yet insisted this wasn’t necessary. I appreciate the honesty. These guys are in it for the right reasons.”

There is a couple must do’s involved with packing your precious cargo so be sure to go through the instructions with him beforehand. The bike box was easy to carry through the airport and luckily no unexpected surprises when opening the box after my flight either. Highly recommend Efrain and his top notch service, he really cares about what he does and he will ensure you come back for all your bike case rental needs! Thanks Efrain, appreciate all you do and continue to do.”

Bateman's Spin Shack

Bicycle store Store

“If you only have 100 dollars to spend in Toronto, here's how you should spend it: 65 for the tour, 5 for the empanada at the market where they bring you to lunch, and the rest as a tip to the guides. Easily the best way to cover lots of ground and see everything you like. The guides (we got Peter and Craig, but I'm sure everyone else is great too) are extremely knowledgeable about the city, and do a good job of keeping everyone safe and entertained throughout the entire 4.5 hours.”
