“I’m a huge fan of this family owned Hasty Market! They have East African, middle eastern and south Asian groceries, housewares and sweets. The staff here go through a lot, dealing with crackheads, thief’s, scammers and violent customers (as I’ve witnessed in the past). But this place is still my one stop shop for all my speciality ingredients needs! Prices are fair, meats fresh, and samosas and nan bread are yummy. I will continue to go back.”

“Over the years I have noticed Sobeys prices to fall in line with other premium brand grocery stores, whereas I used to find them much more expensive. I am choosing Sobeys more and more because of their excellent departments. I also highly recommend ordering their catering service, we had a wonderful platter prepared - just make sure its more than 24 hrs in advance. Their loyalty program is air miles, you can redeem here as well. Overall I highly recommend.”

Prices are slightly higher than other local stores but that is offset by the quality of products offered and the overall shopping experience. The staff is helpful and even the clientele is far above what you might encounter at other grocery stores. Shop the sales flyer and save!.”
