We moved into a new house, Jacob came by to look at the layout, did an entire interior design for us with various choices of couch, beds, etc. It's worth the wait (Italian furniture takes a long time to get here), and the quality is top notch - lasts forever. We had issues with our glass coffee table (a manufacturing defect) and Jacob replaced it until it was just right - without complains. That, is customer service at top-end furniture store.”

“Da Silva’s just completed an upholstery job for us on a mid 20th century love seat and two chairs originally from the UK and recovered at least once before. My wife and I found the service a bit different. Margarita was the type to point you in a direction and then leave you to it. That works for my wife and I in preference to a hovering person. It is true we had to wait a few months longer than we anticipated to get the job picked up. I was about to call the shop and enquire as to the problem - I was thinking indifference - when Margarita called to say they were ready to pick it up. Things then moved quickly and efficiently. As it happened we could not receive the job back for a few weeks. Da Silva hung on to it for us - no issue. The job was promptly delivered when we returned from holiday and both my wife and I were entirely satisfied with the quality of the work. No errors, no problems, no unpleasant surprises. Just a job of excellent quality delivered at a reasonable price. The pick up and delivery teams were polite, clean cut and represented the company well. The arrived when they said they would. Overall I would say that if the company does good work and at a reasonable price, you might expect to have to wait a bit in a queue.”

“Twice the price of any competitors, the mattress is very uncomfortable, salesperson was quite pushy trying to get me to leave a review before I even walked out the door. I had a very uncomfortable experience leaving a great deal of personal information and getting roped into having my picture taken, but in the end I got what I came for (at 3x the price I could have spent at a competitor for a comparable product). The sales person was friendly and her family was helpful loading the product into my vehicle for me, but I'm not impressed with the price or the quality of the item and the pressure to leave a good review left a sour taste.”

“Had really great customer service at my recent (and first) visits to this location. Cashiers were friendly.. I also had one employee drop what he was doing, empty a cart in an aisle, and bring it to me (without me having said anything) when he saw I had my hands full and was still looking around. At the paint counter, I had brought in a swatch from a different paint company to be colour matched... when I got home, I saw the colour was off so I went back later that day asking if there was anything they could do. He rescanned it and when he saw the numbers didn't match, he made me a new batch, but ended up having to improvise a bit because they didn't have the base I needed. Was happy to walk out of there with paint I'm excited about! Keep it up. :)”

“My favorite shop in Port Elgin for home decor.I needed a new runner for my hallway and a large carpet for my living room. I wanted good quality, light in color, unique, and they had to match.
