“Off the wall attraction: A small house built of soda cans by a local resident. 27,927 cans, to be precise. And some 4000 hours of work. A must see for those who love oddball roadside tourist attractions.”

“We had precooked because it’s what the website said to do. Did the guided tour with Anaïs. She was great and fun. Interacted well with the kids. At the end we got to look thru the telescope and wow. When we looked at the moon it was spectacular.”

“I reserved cabin 2 about five months in advance and had confirmation of cabin 2 from this establishment. Upon arrival I was told my group is in cabin 7. How odd, but they are all the same apparently. Upon getting to cabin 7 there is obviously someone already using it. Going back to the office they are confused but finally determine the person(s) in 7 should be in 6 but then give me cabin 6. OK, I guess. We are five people but the cabin only has towels for two. A cellphone call to the office gets us the additional towels brought up to the cabin. The phone in the cabin does not work so I could not call their office using it. The WiFi in the cabin does not work. We could not connect at all. The young lady that brought us our towels could not figure it out. So now working phone or WiFi. It is disappointing to not have everything working properly when you check in to an accommodation. In addition to all that the pool was not functioning properly due to a broken pool liner and could not be used but we were told the kiddie pool was open. We had told my grandson we were taking him for a swim so that could work out. Wrong! Even kiddie pool closed by 4:30pm, this was quite disappointing. The rest of the cabin was good, clean, and pretty well equipped. Unfortunately I cannot give more than a three rating for these cabins and this place. If I had booked more than one night for a family vacation my disappointment would have been immense.”

“About the history of the islanders. Well done, really interesting. We easily forget how people had to work hard for a meager living in those times. Discover a part of the success of Henry Ford's T-model there. Expo is all in french, but you'll find friendly people to show you around in fair English.”

“Ok. Just look at the pictures. That place is next to Smithsonian. Evolution explained thru the adaptation and transformation of the skeleton (and therefore the form) of vertebrates. The curator keeps more than a 1000 skeletons there and know the history of them all. Well trained guide can keep you entertained for hours. You decide when to stop. (if you ask kindly, they'll let you come back the next day)”

“We went for the 2 hour tour. It was OK. The start was sketchy. They made us get rain suits on and wait in the sun on a 30 degree day for about a half hour. When we finally got on the boat, the tour guide was fantastic. We only went out and around the light house and then back to Tadoussac. We saw some Minky whales and seals. They spent too much time watching the same few whales so we never got to go and look for humpback or blue whales.”

“Beautiful trail! It is NOT a loop (see picture) but 2.8km one way and then the same path back again. I wore sneakers and was fine (it was dry) but would recommend hiking boots (if available). Took me 1.5hs to do the trail twice (to get back to where I started) but I ran parts of it. Different sceneries, forest and field, some wooden stairs, path clearly indicated and all well maintained. If you do the hike in order to see many waterfalls you might be disappointed though!”
