“We went on 2 separate fishing outings with R&R Charters. The 2 captains, Paul and Brett, were very knowledgeable and did everything they could to help us catch fish. “We had a great time! Paul, our captain, was knowledgeable, quick witted, extremely pleasant, and really good at finding fish (although he slept a lot!!). Just kidding but ask him about that!! The whole boat caught their limit. My wife and the other folks, mother and son, had never been deep sea fishing before so it was extra special for them. My wife landed 3 of 5 and had to throw 1 back. The 14 year old young man had the time of his life!! I would, and will, do this again next salmon season, and the next year, and the next year... Do not miss this!!!”

“I did a kayak lesson with Blue Otter, it was great! Alex taught me about how to navigate currents and tides at Deception Pass. I feel a lot more confident now paddling through currents, I learned more advanced strokes, and we practiced rescues a bit too. It was a lot of fun and Alex is a great instructor!”

“For 30 years, we have chosen the Paraclete, with rare exceptions, over all other forms of transportation, to and from our Center Island home. They have hauled our family and all the STUFF that part of living on a private island, including entertaining, recreation, upkeep, remodeling, in an area that is just a step away from camping out: food and more food, kids, dogs, bicycles, kayaks, furniture, outboard motors, sewing machines, building materials, and on and on. Their service is outstanding: they help with loading and unloading with efficiency and a smile. And hey have managed over the years to be the most affordable transportation They are one of the outstanding aspects of our years enjoying the San Juan's.”

Steve led us on a journey of a lifetime to see humpbacks, orcas, and plenty of stellar sea lions and harbor seals! “My husband and I, and another friend couple, recently had the great pleasure of an adventure on the Lady of the Sea with Jack and Kerstin. What a great boat! She has so many different areas to enjoy, either together or by oneself. There is a large living room with comfortable seating that is all windows looking out at the beauty of the NW. The dining room is comfortable with a help-yourself coffee/tea bar. The staterooms are private and beds ever so cozy and warm. There are plenty of bathrooms with easy motorized flush toilets. My favorite place was the front deck of the ship with a long comfortable “couch” and two easy chairs. But the top fly bridge is another wonderful outdoor space. Jack and Kerstin are the best hosts! Kerstin is an incredible cook and each meal was a sensory treat. Jack is such a capable captain and has a long list of good suggestions for maximizing any trip. He is knowledgeable about many subjects and provides insight into each land or sea pursuit. And Kerstin and Jack are both so flexible and open to meeting the needs and wishes of their guests. We enjoyed a wonderful mix of cruising time, exploring and hiking unpopulated islands and learning cultural history at the wonderful Rosario mansion on Orcas. And SPA time is available there as well! If you want a very special tour of the Salish Sea, enjoying all the beauty and history of this area, sailing with Jack and Kerstin on the Lady of the Sea is the way to go!”

“We absolutely LOVED getting to stay in this property! The kitchen was well equipped for all the cooking we did, the beds were super cozy + all the furniture was new. Overall the space is so gorgeous! We loved getting to use the hot tub in the evening and playing pool during some down time at the house. The location of the property was perfect for hiking at Moran State Park + popping into town for ice cream or window shopping. We can't wait to come back!”
