“Love this park all year round, but yesterday was the perfect time to go because it's warm and we saw a lot of people enjoying the park and so much more.”

“We enjoyed the serenity of the gardens as they were meant to be serene. The walk along the paths and the trees were very relaxing. We went through the building on site and a young lady Noreve took the time to help us make origami birds. She also explained to us that if you make one thousand of the birds you get good luck and happiness. While we were there we got to write down a wish on a piece of paper and it was tied to a tree. We are planning another visit but either in the spring when the trees are blooming or the fall when the trees change their colours. Otherwise an enjoyable visit.”

“A great spot for a walk or trail run in an impeccably well maintained park. Amazing views from the rim trails, while down in the river valley you will feel miles from anywhere easily forgetting you are right in the middle of town.”

“Incredible! World's longest Trestle Bridge! Deer bounding around us and coolies as far as you can see. Incredible history and hiking amidst the fourth largest city in AB!!”

“We were here visiting my mom, these gardens aren't at their best right now because of the season, but normally they look beautiful and a lot of people will stop to admire them. I grew up in this city so it isn't anything new to me.”

“The Helen Schuler Nature Centre what a great place. This place is great for kids to explore and learn new stuff about plants and animals. Don showed us around and took the time to talk about all the different type of activities was great. This place has very clean washroom facilities and fun facts on the walls. There are two water fountains and you can also refill your water flasks. I enjoyed checking out the art work that must of taking a lot of hours to create out of paper. Photos don't do it justice. This place is must see and it's basically Free. Thanks again Don for giving my wife and I a tour through Nature!”

“This off-leash park is a beautiful open space along the river with a paved trail loop and a sizeable fenced training area easily accessible from the small parking lot. At the far end of the paved loop there is a sloped section allowing access to the river for dogs that like to get wet, just keep a close eye on any small breeds as they can easily be picked up by the current if they wander out too far. All in all an excellent place to take your pup for an adventure!”

“Love it! Feels different than most parks, it feels like you're actually in the wild sometimes. Lots of other families were there with kids. Only complaint is that the very nice playground apparently has to be booked or rented to be used, so there is no playground to my knowledge at this park. But Legacy is just down the road. 🙂👍🏼”
