“Decent space, nice to be able to get down to the water edge , decent amount of garbage cans, not very busy at all thou cautions to rattle snakes during certain seasons. Personally prefer to walk the bike paths than the rock path for the scenery .”

“We enjoyed the serenity of the gardens as they were meant to be serene. The walk along the paths and the trees were very relaxing. We went through the building on site and a young lady Noreve took the time to help us make origami birds. She also explained to us that if you make one thousand of the birds you get good luck and happiness. While we were there we got to write down a wish on a piece of paper and it was tied to a tree. We are planning another visit but either in the spring when the trees are blooming or the fall when the trees change their colours. Otherwise an enjoyable visit.”

It has a paved path adjacent to Garry Port, overlooking a storm pond. The paved, multi-user path continues East along Garry Drive connecting to other parks and communities. There are a few park benches to relax on and enjoy the various bird life enjoying the water. There is a Little Lethbridge Library beside one of the benches where you might find a good book to exchange or read while enjoying the park.”

“This new park in the Country Meadows subdivision features a playground on the West end and a paved path circling a storm pond. There are nicely placed benches close to the playground and overlooking the pond. On my visit, I saw two muskrats, several geese and other wetland birds. Judging by the pathways in spots, the geese are prevalent and well-fed! The paved path is also marked as a 1 km recreational loop for walking, running, cycling, etc. The pavement is marked every 100m.”

“The Helen Schuler Nature Centre what a great place. This place is great for kids to explore and learn new stuff about plants and animals. Don showed us around and took the time to talk about all the different type of activities was great. This place has very clean washroom facilities and fun facts on the walls. There are two water fountains and you can also refill your water flasks. I enjoyed checking out the art work that must of taking a lot of hours to create out of paper. Photos don't do it justice. This place is must see and it's basically Free. Thanks again Don for giving my wife and I a tour through Nature!”

“We’ve stayed here several times over the years. We enjoy the amenities such as the nice washrooms, showers and laundry facilities. The pool is great in the summer. The one downside is that it has become really expensive. We are choosing to camp elsewhere on our next visit to Lethbridge due to the expense.”

“This off-leash park is a beautiful open space along the river with a paved trail loop and a sizeable fenced training area easily accessible from the small parking lot. At the far end of the paved loop there is a sloped section allowing access to the river for dogs that like to get wet, just keep a close eye on any small breeds as they can easily be picked up by the current if they wander out too far. All in all an excellent place to take your pup for an adventure!”

“Great place for Families”
Address: Lethbridge, AB T0K 0T0, Canada
“Love it! Feels different than most parks, it feels like you're actually in the wild sometimes. Lots of other families were there with kids. Only complaint is that the very nice playground apparently has to be booked or rented to be used, so there is no playground to my knowledge at this park. But Legacy is just down the road. 🙂👍🏼”
