“Love this beach. Easy to social distance and good for camping. We went for the day and there were tonnes of people camping over night. There was a person at the entrance of Cogburn Beach, not sure if you have to pay or register. There's also an outhouse at the 21 km mark, not sure if there are more. We rode 2 up on the bike. It's a 30 minute ride on the bike on the forestry service road, a little rough but as long as you know what you're doing it's fine. There's shady and sunny spots and the water is clear and refreshing.”

I used to camp there many years ago until the host at that time decided that tenters weren't worthy campers and she had to save all the best sites "in case a trailer in need showed up" Anyways - SO glad we chanced going back again, the camp host now (Santa Wayne) is amazing. He looks like Santa, has all kinds of cool stuff to keep up the image, my son was dazzled (and frankly, I felt like there was something magical about him too...) - it was really neat. The place itself is stunning, the view is unbeatable. And honestly, the cleanest outhouse I have ever used! My son asked if we can always go there to camp from now on. I like to travel around and see different places, but we will definitely be back at some point. Also, I cannot thank Santa Wayne enough for saving us! The night we left it was quite late, it had been raining, the road was slippery, and I was tired, and I got myself botched up with my cargo trailer at the top of the hill out, started slipping and spinning my wheels, which resulted in a bit of a jackknife. I did all I could, but was afraid I was just making it worse. I had to go down and ask him for help. Poor guy was just getting out of a shower, but he got dressed and came out and saved our butts - talk about ABOVE AND BEYOND! My eternal gratitude to this man for not only providing us with the amazing trip we'd already had - but for keeping our trip from ending in a nightmare. Thank you Santa Wayne!”

“A perfect way to spend Mother’s Day with my beautiful Mommy. From start to finish not a detail was missed. ❤️ Our Tree House adventure began with being taxied over by boat by the hostess with the mostest, Coleen and her partner Martin. We were given the grand tour and then left to begin our special day together. From the warm and cozy Tree House to the amazing view of Harrison Lake, there was no shortage of things to do. We got creative painting our rocks that we found on the shoreline, and planting them in the guest rock garden. We prepared a nice meal in our cozy little kitchen, barbecued our steaks, enjoyed our Mother’s Day dinner on our private patio until the sun went down. We played Yahtzee by the fireside and then after dinner drinks in our private hot tub. We ended our evening roasting hot dogs in our wood burning fire place that was all set for us with paper and kindling. Only to wake up to watch a beautiful sunrise. Highly recommend this little getaway with anyone that you love. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks Coleen and Martin for sharing your piece of paradise with us.”

“Mixed feelings on this. Beautiful lake, nice big area to camp but very disapointed in how people treat this amazing place. Lots of garbage left behind, 2 burnt cars. Piles of house garbage on the side of the road. So sad. People want a great experience going out there, but you will be disgusted by how people treat this great place. If you pack it in pack it out. Oh.....and there are no fish in the lake.”

“Stayed in cabin #1 over Christmas with my family and it was lovely! Very rustic and well set up for a lot of people to sleep, could sleep 3 adult couples comfortably plus children. Loved the gas fireplace and the hot tub on the deck. Beautiful scenery. Well stocked, staff was accommodating, even had a bbq! Would definitely stay here again :)”

“If you need lotto tickets or scratch tickets they are the regular price. The gas was 10 cents a litre more than the Highway stations. No food or drink items have prices on them or the shelf...because...if you saw the price you'd go somewhere else. That is hard to do sometimes because its the only store around for miles. However the amount it would cost in gas to go elsewhere would be negligible because of how much money you'd save. A gouge for campers, skiers and others who stop at this inconvenience store. $12 for a case of pop? I'm a drive by now.”
