“I didn't have problems with the owners, she is just not overly chatty/friendly. They weren't horrible as we are quiet people and were in bed by 10 each night. What really irritated me was the fact that the sewer connections for each site is in the middle of the next sites camping/eating area. Gross! We were having dinner while the fellow next to us was emptying his black water. Cannot be sanitary. No privacy other than your own trailer. Bring sun shades with sides if you want privacy. It was definitely a quiet campground. Also, if you bring your fur family, We have two elderly labs, both sleep the trip away. one is completely blind. We were told to move the dogs to the dog beach, all good, others were there and they had dogs too... but, there was absolutely NO trail, it was all large boulders and driftwood and poison ivy. I had to basically carry my 80lb blind lab to the "dog area" because she couldn't maneuver the rocks etc. Then to top it off the other pup had a run in with the poison ivy, so itchy for the rest of the trip. It would have been nice to have a path that was cleared to go back and forth. Not to mention my daughter who was 6 months pregnant at the time and had to crawl all over this mess also. I wouldn't recommend this "resort" to anyone. Just not my cup of tea as they say. I Paid my fee and got the heck out.”

“I could not recommend this place more. This was the second year that me and my friends stay here and it is awesome. The cabins are clean, washroom are clean and the staff are some of the friendliest people I've ever met.”

“We had such an enjoyable time at this lovely lakeside campground. The staff here are so wonderful! They are so welcoming and pleasant. I would highly recommend staying here. Our small, but cozy site was only steps from the lake. We can't wait to stay here again! Thank you so much for the wonderful week by the lake!”

“I'd like to start off with how the owners daughter Shae is amazing. Super friendly host, the neighbouring campers were loud at night and Shae put a stop to it immediately. The campground has water and electricity with a dump site on location. The campground has it's own beach with a boat slip. I'd come here again.”

“This little gem is the most amazing place. It's clean and close to an incredible beach. The people here are so friendly, the sky is clear and full of stars. I had the best sleep and the rates are very good”

“Nice place within walking distance to a sandy beach with a designated swimming area. The unit we stayed in was perfect for a family with kids. We really enjoyed our stay there.”

“Great place to stay with the family. Pros - quiet, peaceful, air con works well, close to public beach. Cons - not lake front and could use a better clean, we ended up cleaning our cabin at the start as it was not nearly clean enough for kids. (Crumbs in drawers, coffee filter left behind) That being said, we would stay again, and enjoyed our time here.”

“Mike & Wendy are the best hosts you could meet. They have an awesome little place on the river and there is tons to do in the area. 20 minutes by bike to the farmers market in town (twice a week), hiking, lakes, river floating, etc. They have the best bathrooms we have ever seen. We will be back. Highly recommend a stay here.”

“I have been staying here while waiting for my home to be finished. The owner, Tammy, has been so understanding, kind and very considerate. The rates are unbeatable in this town, and the rooms are spotless! Also, there’s a lovely river right on location to swim and float in , right from the motel!”

“Owners have a no cancellation rule, during July and August,. Totally their option of course. We cancelled 😤 because our friends all cancelled. At first they kept my full payment, I was sad. But today GREAT NEWS lifetime credit. Now that's customer service. We may never get there but I hope we do.”

“A great campground. Very clean the lady is strict with rules but incredibly fair and looks after the place great person for the job. Clean environment. Deer's around the park in late summer bears. Which the park warns everyone. 👍 But hate to say this the town are cold toward strangers. So forget restaurants buy food in the grocery store and go back to your camp. The camp 4 stars the town 1 star. May God invade these people lives.”

“We had a wonderful week and enjoyed the creek and the people camping around us were amazing. The owner is a genuine person and very personable. We plan to go back yearly. Thanks for putting up with us for a week Leah and Shane. If we could have we would have booked the whole summer but we sadly have to work!”

“Absolutely the best spot to camp for the summer. They have electric and water hookups for 2 RV spots. We were able to get a local company to come pump our tank when needed. PV provided an amazing outdoor bathroom for the campgrounds use! This is not your run of the mill outhouse. It has running water and flush toilets. The grounds are beautiful. The river is steps away. There are numerous trails nearby. The hosts are wonderful and friendly. It is quiet and charming. Will miss it dearly.”

“Daughter married here . Had all campground to ourselves. Beautiful surroundings. Also used Fair Grounds for reception. Great place for wedding! Only suggestions are an ice machine and portable dance floor would have been nice as it was hard to dance on uneven grassy surface. Otherwise it was magical once decorations etc done!”

“We came looking for firewood on a locals recommendation after coming up dry at the two gas stations. Found firewood, cold drinks and a really friendly woman that even let us fill our water jugs for our stay at a provincial campground near by. Next time we would stay here instead. Beautiful grassy campground with shade just steps from the river. Absolutely worth leaving the highway to check out.”

“We really enjoyed our time here. It’s really nice to be right on the River. Some spots have lots a trees and others don’t have any so it can be hit or miss if you just show up. There’s lots of outhouses and garbage bins around which is great for tenting. Also, all sites have a picnic table and a fire pit. My only real complaint is you get some road noise from the hwy but other than that, a great location for $30 per night.”

“We had the best weekend getaway here last weekend! New owners Maya & Thomas (and their two young kiddies) were so gracious and made us feel so welcome. We stayed in the bed & breakfast which was absolutely amazing!! Meticulously clean, private and quiet, with a perfect outdoor space to enjoy the beautiful view. “Continental breakfast” was more like something you would get at a fancy hotel - it was so thoughtful and unexpected! There is a common area in the b&b area for making coffee, tea, and re-heating/eating a meal anytime you need. There is also a small shared fridge which was so perfect. The entire property is unreal - so stunningly beautiful and natural; enjoy a nice walk around the property, see the horses, and spend some time relaxing by the little lake. We didn’t camp, but we walked around the sites and would absolutely come back and try camping here! It’s only a 20 minute drive to Osoyoos - perfect location! The ranch is enough off the highway that you don’t hear car traffic. Can’t recommend this place enough - we can’t wait to go back & are already scoping it out for a wedding in the future... thanks for a lovely stay!!”

“I love Jolly Lake. Winter's are cold and very dry. Great for snowmobiling, and summer's are amazing. Butch runs the campsite here and he is awesome. Lake is clean and warm mid summer but gets quite low end of summer. Lots of Bullfrogs, and kids love it.”
