“Truthfulness! If I talk about honesty, I want to take the name of "ProMechBC." I found this Mech company online and spoke with Mac (A team member). I informed them of my problem, and then he stated that if there is a problem with this E-Scooter, then it will be rectified as soon as possible and it will be returned to you, and if no problem is seen, then "General Service" will be done and get it back without any cost. And the other day, I got a phone call that there was no problem and I would not have to pay any service charges. I was very impressed by their honesty. A wonderful experience and highly recommended!”

“We own three of these the little Herrnhuter stars for already 5 or 6 years and they are awesome. We have a red, a white and a red and white star. They are in our windows all year around since they look good in winter but also set the right atmosphere for Canada day! I'm very impressed how sturdy the stars are, they still look like new and not the least bit faded. We had to replace some of the electric wires over the years (our young kittens thought it was a great joy chewing them). I can not speak high enough of Kirsten and Hartmut from My Brilliant Star, they were so amazing helping me to find replacement wires. I would always buy from them again, they do everything to make the experience great and last!”

“I'm loving the Evolv Stride. John at Urban Machina was very helpful and knowledgeable. The Stride is exceptionally well made, with enough power to climb our Vancouver hills, and it looks tough (see photos)! I think the "honeycomb" semi-solid tires and front and rear shocks is the best combination for city riding, as you get a reasonably smooth ride with no worries about flats. The only feature I wish it had was regenerative braking. I originally thought regen was designed only to add range by recharging the battery (not a problem, given the Stride's generous range). But it's useful for managing downhill speed, as it's easier than squeezing brake levers and saves a lot of brake wear. (Some models let you choose the regen strength level, too.) If UM introduces a scooter with it, I may take advantage of their "upgrade" offer—assuming I can do that and stay married. 😄 That said, in all other ways the Stride is excellent. So if downhill braking isn't a big deal for you, it's a great value. And no matter which scooter interests you, I know you'll appreciate the good people at UM, and being able to support a local business. Cheers!”

“I so wanted to rate this place better, but my goodness, the woman at the desk was absolutely miserable. Go for the prices, NOT the customer service (although the young gentleman who was working there almost made up for her sourness, which is the only reason they're getting a 3rd star). I've visited 3 times in the last few weeks, and each time I was shocked at how unfriendly and unhelpful she was - maybe I'm a glutton for punishment? They offer a great section of tiles, loads of display boards, and a serious range of prices and styles. Everything is dusty and dirty, and you need to be careful not to disturb the tiles, or you'll be glared at by the proprietor.”

“Al was a fantastic associate to help us out. To the point we drove past at least two other GM dealers with similar models and specs. He was polite, prompt, communicative and straightforward to deal with. And no BS. Not only all that, but he also presented at least three pieces of information that no other GM dealer salesperson had mentioned. Those three key pieces ultimately made the vehicle and price we wanted work for us. Because of the phone, text and email work done by Al, our time at the dealership was at a minimum. And delivery is available, so we don't need to make the trip back to pick up our new vehicle. Aside from Al, all the other staff were friendly, efficient and courteous. Finance guy Joe made everything clear and simple and very quick. Much appreciated with a (very excited) 7 month old in tow! The facility was clean and clearly marked for social distancing with hand sanitizers at strategic locations. Al and Dueck Vancouver will definitely be our first call for our next vehicle. I sometimes wish there was an option for 6 stars.”
