“It has been a good experience for me, and I hope to visit again sometime! The Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre is a gem tucked away in Burnaby, British Columbia. It is dedicated to preserving and representing Japanese Canadian culture, as well as exploring other cultures and arts. The museum’s mission statement emphasizes the idea of “opening minds through learning and discovery” – a goal that it achieves by creating an interactive space that invites visitors into various perspectives of Canada’s diverse history.”

“What a great afternoon! The volunteers were super friendly and really wanted people to enjoy themselves. The time and energy put into preserving this but of history is admirable. Got lucky and the add on tickets were included as it was a bit slower today. Go teach your kids about how cool trains are! Keep up the great work team”

“Very well kept the various collections of households that marked an important period back tens of years ago. The hot water bottle for keeping feet warm in the old days was so special and impressive. Will visit again for appreciating more of the special collections.”

“I've purchased two bikes from Caps in the past year, and on both occasions I've had excellent customer service. The first time, last year, the sales staff were incredibly patient as I worked my way through the options available. In the end I bought I specialized bike that I loved until someone stole it. I LOVED the aftercare service., and the fact that they gave me $50 worth of accessories for free. The second bike purchase this year was mid-pandemic reopening. I knew more about what I wanted in a bike, and was a more confident rider, so it was an easier decision, but I still returned to the store several times before making my final purchase. I had the same sales person twice--she was fantastic, she knew her stuff, and she answered all my questions, and even cut the post down so I could ride the bike. My only complaint is that (I'm assuming this is because of the pandemic) they didn't do the follow-up fitting a week after I bought the bike and the $50 in free accessories was replaced by a $20 coupon. To be expected, I suppose, given the volume and current conditions but still... Like I said, that was my only complaint--I felt like the staff in general went above and beyond in the current situation, and that they did an excellent job of keeping us safe while allowing us to experience the bikes. Great store. I'm happy to support this local business!”
