“I called for assistance with my freezer, the Technician immediately answered my call. He asked a few questions and indicated some parts for another job had not yet arrived, so he would come over in 2 hours. Lee was on time and within 10 minutes of looking at my freezer, he diagnosed the problem and offered possible solutions. He gave the absolute best help and suggested I could possibly repair the problem myself. Lee showed me some schematics/diagrams from his phone, and explained the procedures.The next day I emptied the freezer, performed a complete defrost, and followed his start-up instructions. He even called me a couple of times to check in and offered me more advice over the phone. Lee was 100% correct with everything he told me! This was so worth the "Service Call" fee and saved me BIG in repairs and/or a new freezer. “Mid Island cabinets was involved in our major house renovation four years ago. We had them design, create, and install a custom kitchen, three bathrooms and the fireplace mantle shelving unit. We had a very good (read 5 star) experience with all the staff, from the show room personnel to the installers and especially the sales representative and designer. We received excellent advice, prompt service, great communication, and the products have withstood the test of time so far. As a testament to our satisfaction with Mid Island Cabinets, we just recently hired them back to create a custom built in book shelf specifically designed for an existing 'nook'. I described what I wanted and they created it to match the existing kitchen and fireplace. From first contact to finished installation took 2 months to the day. Very impressive. The result is exactly what we wanted and the workspace was left clean and tidy. I can't praise the customer service and workmanship highly enough. Keep up the good work, guys!”

“We have just had our kitchen refaced by Twin Oaks Woodworking and couldn’t be happier with the results. Lance and Nicki came together to do the measurement and discuss the job. They had some great suggestions and ideas that we hadn’t given a lot of thought to. We changed all the lower cabinetry into drawers with very smooth, easy glide, soft close drawers. We also changed the uppers to go right to the ceiling and besides looking great it adds so much extra storage. They installed new pullouts in the pantry and they are simply wonderful. Their staff who did the installation are very professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to have work in our home. They work efficiently and clean up after themselves at the end of the day. We also had them make an “eating bar” in a part of our kitchen that was wasted space and it is just fabulous! They arrived when they said they would, worked quickly and efficiently and there was no hidden costs. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.”

“We have been using Oceanside Gas to annually service our gas fireplace since we moved here 6 years ago. They are prompt....reasonable.....honest and fair. A few days ago I called to explain the fan on the fireplace was making strange noises and may be in need of repair or replacement. I was told to visually check the fan to see if a wire was touching one of the blades.....sure enough....I checked and found one wire was just touching the blades. I moved the wire and problem solved!
