“Amazing museum and incredible staff (apologies I didn't catch your names!). Very knowledgeable and a good sense of humour. My Dad and I learnt a lot from the nice lady who talked us through most of the items there - she also has a beautiful dog we were lucky enough to meet! I highly recommend the museum if you're in the area.”

“What a wonderful spot! Our family visited in July 2018. There is a small gift shop building, open air tent to pan for gold, Mr Halymore's home (not safe to wake inside) at a great near-river site. Check the hours because they have limited hours (may be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday). Another reviewer commented negatively on being asked to leave after spending days using (abusing) the free wifi. Pro tip: it's a heritage site and gift shop, not a public library.”

“Beautiful facility celebrating the indigenous arts and culture for BC. Nice collection, worth the tour for further insight into some of the collections. But if you are into the incredible architecture, then this is a must see. A walk around the outside before venturing indoors is recommended. The galleries are spacious and well designed. Certainly a stunner with the facility alone.”

“Learn about the local culture of Whistler and the traditions that were honored in the valley through out the ages. Their cafe serves a wide range of snacks and the gift shop features local artisans handiwork and fine art. You can also create traditions of your own in their event space. The Treatment in my photos was for a wedding styled by Koncept Event Design of Vancouver BC Canada.”

“Very good stop if one needs to let the tears go, afterwards wash ur face from the river as it takes away ones pain, one way of letting go, because if you thing about it there is no river that the same water runs threw it twice..”

“Trains! They have done a great job all around and it's worth going. We've gone may times. They also host community events. Good folks.”

“Been coming here since I was a small child. Very cool place to check out if you are into trains. There is a small train that goes around a part of the museum for children. You'll really want to check out the "Royal Hudson" as it is an amazing and beautiful train engine. Staff are incredibly friendly as well.”

“This place is more than a museum, this is a living historic place. The mine tour is very simple, yet very rich experience. I don't know about the others, but our tour guide was very humble and friendly young person with lots to tell and share about the history of that place. We went there on 50% discounted family day for residents and definitely worth it. Mine tour itself lasts about 40 minutes. Full experience including short movie and exploring around can take 1.5-2 hours depending on your pace.”
