“Had a wonderful time at Lakeside Camp. Owners were great to deal with and the campground is well maintained. Clean washrooms and friendly people. Site was great for my tent trailer but may not be suitable for large RVs. You're just across the road from Lake Heron's beautiful sunsets and only 10 minutes to the town of Lion's Head. Tons to do in the area too! Will definitely be going back.”

“We rented these cottages for a few days this summer. First of all the view is fantastic, you are right on the water and a few steps away from great boating. The fire pit at night is very comfortable and a great place to sit and relax by the fire. The hot tub is top notch and when the water is cold is probably the best place to sit and relax. The ruins are all clean and well maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and whatever you need, just bring your own food and enjoy. They also provide you with plenty of legal costs and kayaks, there is also a canoe if you feel like it.”

Facilities available for cooking. Area doesn't have cell signal, further this cottage doesn't have wifi for customers. Parking available for customers.”

“My girlfriend booked the Lavender Room for a few nights during the Art Crawl, that is held in the region every year. I asked if she has read any reviews on this B & B, she said no. I read the reviews and took them with a grain of salt. I was incorrect, this is the spot that you will want to stay. We had the best time. So very relaxing, in the whole area. Every morning we had a choice of different breakfast items that we could pick the previous evening. The Breakfast was great, Maureen is a excellent cook. The owners, Ed and Maureen are generous hosts that will make you feel very welcome in their home. The bedrooms are downstairs, which gives guests their privacy. The WiFi worked flawlessly. I work in Television production. I have worked in many different States and Provinces, been in many different hotels, including The Ambassador as well The Royal York. This was one of the most relaxing stays that I have ever had. The property is surrounded by nature and very quiet. Just a note, everything to eat in the area closes by 8pm, so get your food early. Thank you Maureen & Ed. We will be back to once again explore the natural beauty of the area.”

“This little gem is off the main road heading to Tobermory. The hosts are a great family and definitely put some thought into running this place. We stayed in the pine room and which was roomy and comfortable. Shortly after check-in Teresa brought us fresh melon for a snack, I'm guessing it was fresh from their garden since they seem to grow everything. Breakfast was delicious, coffee was fresh and all around great stay.”

“Taylormade bed & breakfast is a home away from home. Diane and Doug have created a beautiful and welcoming space for guest to feel like they are at home. The hosts have not missed a detail from comfortable beds, towels, robes and toiletries. But! Their breakfasts are the highlight of the stay. They accommodated my dietary choice Vegan..from homemade bake goodies, breads and coffee/tea available. I highly recommend staying at Taylormade B&B and make some time to go visit Red Schoolhouse Gallery where Diane (host) displays her Art work. Thank you Diane and Doug for going above and beyond. “I had a wonderful stay at Lionheart B and B. Doug and Marlene were great hosts. The property is amazingly beautiful and immaculate. I stayed in the West Indies room and it was very clean and perfect for my week long hiking trip. Stayed here for 5 nights while hiking the Bruce Trail. Every days hike started off with a wonderful breakfast. Doug was very accommodating with a shuttle every morning to the start of my hike. Doug provided a wealth of information about the Bruce Trail, which in turn made my hikes that much more enjoyable. You can't go wrong staying here the location is perfect and the town is very nice. Overall 5 Stars for sure.”

“This cottage was perfect for a summer getaway! Very clean and well equipped, large bedrooms with plenty of space and a large kitchen, family room and dining area, great for families of all sizes. The location is central, right off Main Street, a five minute walk to the beach and restaurants, ten minutes walk to the pier and lighthouse. Beautiful views from the cottage’s porch and balcony and close to hiking trails in the area. Only a 30 minute drive to Bruce National Park, the grotto at Cyprus Lake and Tobermory! Such a fabulous place & experience, we will definitely be back!”

“This was a modestly priced and very lovely place to stay! The house is located in the woods just a 5 minute drive outside lion's head. Barry was extremely helpful and suggested many wonderful hiking routes, scenic viewpoints and advice on traveling through the Bruce Peninsula. He even told us about a secluded beach for star gazing! 10/10 would recommend!”

“My husband and I were lucky to have found this beautiful B&B. We have been to many, many before and this was one of our tops. We spent two night while exploring the area. The room was spotless and well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and lovely linen. There is a large living area for reading or watching TV with a cup of coffee or tea,or even a local beer, while enjoying the spectacular view. Breakfast was scrumptious overlooking the bay. Charlene is a wealth of information and is a very interesting lady, easy to talk to. We met Charles just briefly as he was getting his bowls ready for the farmers market on Sat. We would definitely like to return sometime and I have highly recommended this place to a friend who is planning on a trip soon, I hope there is availability.
