“Great to stop by for a day hike! Location is easy to access and doesn't appear to be busy during the week. There is paid parking and access to the caves is free. There is no staff either. The walk to the caves is about 10min. to reach the caves. It's a very easy hiking trail. As you approach the caves, the elevation turns to loose and hard rock. Be sure to wear proper hiking shoes. The cave itself doesn't go very deep, about 40 deep and about 30 feet high. Place seems to have some history about the man it's named after. It was an interesting subject to look into after. There is also a hiking loop that runs tight to the cliff face. This hike is much more difficult than the hike trial access. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!”

“My family and I have been frequenting The Launch since it opened and it’s still our favorite place in Owen Sound. We love the atmosphere, the kayak rentals, the pizza and the margaritas! …and their patio facing the Harbour has the best view in Owen Sound!”

“The Donkey & Alpaca Experience was so much fun. The farm is well kept, and Cindy & her husband were fantastic hosts. The Alpaca walk around the property was a great stress-reliever, you can’t help but smile when you’re around these animals :) Definitely worth the scenic drive to Chatsworth.”

“There is two different paths to take. The one I took was steep and muddy. Both paths had blockers, I just walked around them. Nothing at the entrance mentions the trails being blocked off. It's a shorter trail. Took maybe 45 minutes there and back. It's worth it. Bathrooms were closed.”

“I first went to the Billy Bishop Museum for the Military Heritage Trail Tour. The tour was very informative. The tour guide was well informed about the military history and the city of Owen Sound in general. The group was small, so it was easy to hear and get questions answered.”

“You barely see the entrance from highway 6 if there’s no car’s parking on the site. Sign is very small but once you’re in, the trail & signs are very clear & easy to follow if you’re the beginner of a hiker. The waterfalls is kinda hidden but you still can hear. Few path you can take photos (just be careful) but if walk a little bit further into the trail you’ll see more beautiful views not just the falls. If you wanna short cut like I did, I go the opposite of the trail & found the falls in my pictures. Still, it worth a walk & risk it in my opinion. Have fun!”

“Loved this place! Felt like going back in time to childhood. There were no crowds when we went on a Saturday and we could keep going on the same rides over and over with no waiting/lines. An awesome spot for kids. Staff were all friendly. We wished we would have gotten there earlier in the day to enjoy it for longer!! Will definitely go back again.”

“Beautiful Waterfall and trail which is easily accessible from the parking lot. Great little lookout spot for kids and family unless you take a hike from Harrison park. They charge ten dollars for parking where you hardly spend couple of hours. Washrooms are available but in awful condition, try to avoid at this spot. Parking at Harrison park is free and taking a hike is far better than just a lookout point.”

“Great place for a good hike or just walking around. Nice trails and a boardwalk and even a lookout. Lots of cool water features and tons of wildlife. Worth going back to spring, summer, and fall as the vegetation and types of birds changes. Small picnic area. Easily spend half a day just taking in nature.”

““Adjusted to covid in a positive way” Absolutely a must visit over the weekend for a little covid outing. It’s nice to see a local business going above and beyond trying to make it work in this pandemic, a lot other wineries have closed up and cut down which definitely impacts business come summer. My wife and gladly had a great experience visiting over the weekend. Wine was yummy and fairly priced, food truck was cute and wine tasting trailer was adorable. The propane fire pits were a nice touch and the covered porch was even better keeping the rain off us. Owner and staff was very very friendly and helpful also knowledgeable about their wines! Definitely will be coming back!”

“Fun but with new covid 19 policies, we were told to book in person at 9am for a time slot. However, low ropes staff allowed people with no time reservations to go ahead which caused delays that had left us waiting for 45 minutes when we took the trouble to book ahead of time as oppose to just showing up to line up at the low and high ropes. Could be better managed. We would be less frustrated if they had told us to just line up and expect to wait. Could be a problem on all weekends?!?”
