“A long-established shoe store in Hamilton, and for good reason. They offer mostly higher-end shoes and boots and some with very unique and funky designs. My wife also loves them because they carry brands and designers she can't find in nearly any other shoe store, like Fluevog. Daniel, the younger gentlemen, is very knowledgeable and kind. Awesome spot.”

“Dr. Chris is a blast. He knows what he is doing and he is VERY personable. He took over an hour on my first appointments helping me to understand what my condition is and what I need to start doing to feel better. The wait times are never more than 5-10 minutes and while you wait, the other people in the office entertain you with lively conversations. He has computers in his reception area for patients to use to check their email or surf the net and he has ipads in the office that he will give to the kids to watch Netflix or play games during the initial examination. It is not hard to see that he loves people and what he does.”

“Ok, I know you’re reading this because you’re looking for an auto shop you can trust. I’m going to do you a favour and tell you to stop looking. This is the place to go. Upon entering you will be greeted by Alysa’s friendly face, while Andrew is wrenching in the garage. They are completely professional and competent. You will leave your car with them, and then receive text messages throughout the process with information about what is happening, and photos of what they are working on on your car. They are timely and the labour rates are very fair. When you pick up your car, you will notice that it has been cleaned inside and out. I have owned cars for 30 years, and have always hated going to the auto shop. Not any more. I feel I finally have found a shop I can trust. And no, I am not related to the owners or affiliated with them in any way. They are just doing an excellent job, and I cannot recommend them enough.”

The true test of a company or a team isn’t when things are going right. It’s when they go wrong and how they react to them. Speedy was outstanding in correcting the problem, communicating with me all the way, quick turn around on the appointment to go back in and resolved by noon the day of the appt. highly recommend as I’m 100% positive this was a one off.”

“I don't usually write Google Reviews but when an experience is off the chart amazing the staff deserve to know and other customers need to know what to expect. Dined at Shoeless Joe's, Upper James, for lunch today. This place is amazing. The atmosphere is electric. Amazing class rock hits were playing, loud enough to hear while not interfering with conversation. Staff were upbeat, enthusiastic and positive. We were promptly greeted and seated at a great half-booth, where you could see all the action on the amazing HD screens. Our food was delicious, served piping hot exactly as ordered, including some dietary modifications. Staff, including Tom the GM, stopped by to ensure everything was to our liking. Drinks were refilled without asking. The perfect amount of attentiveness. The afternoon scored a touchdown on all counts. Thanks Tom and team for taking the time and care to make our dining experience so amazing. Definitely will be returning. If you haven't been to Shoeless Joe's Upper James, this place is worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.”

“Well, I ordered 2 pizzas online for the 50% off deal. I waited until I saw that the order had been completed and proceeded to go to pick up my pizzas. One was ready to go, but the other one took another 10 or more minutes to be completed even though it showed as completed online. I also do understand that is was busy as well, but an estimated time would have been beneficial. Not very satisfied with that, but the pizzas were both done properly. The online order system is the issue here. I could have brought it up to the staff there but, where will a complaint get you. I would recommend this place no matter what. For that I give it 4 stars!”

“Wonderful selection of outdoor furniture and many varied coloured cushions of all sizes. The sales person was very helpful and tried to show us how the cushions would look in our setting. I appreciated her helpfulness. It turned out that two of the cushions were too narrow so we brought thrown back the following day and replaced by the larger ones for a small difference in price. I was pleasantly surprised about the prices actually and would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for outdoor furniture or accessories.”

“Visited to research a specific model. Very nice showroom, clean, uncluttered, bright, lots of windows. The model I came to see was on display and a salesperson asked if I needed help. I had a technical question they had to quickly look up. The salesperson was knowledgeable and friendly. I asked for a brochure and was given a photocopy, which is too bad. It was a worthwhile visit and I came away with a positive opinion of Volkswagen. I had been worried that the vehicle I'm interested in is not made in Germany. I'm still a bit worried about quality. This was something the salesperson was unable to speak to.”
