“Throw away every negative stereotype you have heard about Crossfit, they simply do not apply here. I cannot speak highly enough regarding my experience here at Crossfit Stoney Creek. From my initial visit I was immediately impressed with the trainers’ knowledge and attention to fundamentals. There has never been a moment when I felt that proper technique and personal safety were taking a backseat to performance or arrogance. I began training here in Jan.2016, having found that my normal gym routine was becoming stale and overly time consuming. At that time I had been training primarily on my own, and I have found that Crossfit Stoney Creek has filled the deficiencies in my training program. Lee and Lorna provide excellent coaching and programming, while also providing a very welcoming and fun atmosphere. Continuous improvement and physical prowess are both celebrated. Lorna and Lee motivate everyone to push themselves, and can help anyone accomplish their health and fitness goals. They not only provide excellent workout programming so as to avoid overloading whilst producing results, but they take a holistic approach to fitness by providing mentoring (on request) with regards to the impact of diet on one’s health and performance. For individuals who might be too intimidated or believe themselves to be too out of shape to even begin, I would urge you to drop in and meet with the trainers. Let them demonstrate how they are willing to work with you to tailor workouts and drive success. For individuals who think they are already fit, come show us what you’ve got.”
