“The service was excellent but I personally think the main dish was just fine and I expected something better. The appetizers was amazing, I always order chips and cheese at Mexican restaurants and this one is the best i had so far. I think this place would be much more amazing for lunch than dinner.”

“Haven’t actually tried the pizza yet, only the coffee. There’s no location on Google Maps for the coffee place inside here. It’s merged with the pizza place. Anyhow, the atmosphere of the place is amazing. Relaxing and super chill. The staff are also super friendly, Chances are, if you’re a regular, they’ll remember you, and what you order! The coffee is miles ahead of any big chain coffee shop. Tim Hortons, Starbucks, etc. They have a nice selection of coffee that is super well made, strong, and very photogenic. The pastries are also to die for, my favourite being the recent addition of an apple danish, which is completely different from any danish I’ve tasted before. Go here, skip Starbucks, skip Tim’s. Sure, it’s a little more expensive (probably on par with Starbucks), but worth it all the way. You can also take everything to go!”

“Excellent breakfast place. I come here every week like clockwork with my partner. We love the friendly and attentive staff along with generous portions of delicious food. It always hits the spot. Recently bought gift certificates and gave them to family who visit the neighbourhood. I highly recommend the coffee and good food.”

“Had the first student combo with the poutine. Service was fast and was surprisingly cheap for a decent portion size. Ingredients tasted fresh. They use thin wraps for the shawarma sandwich, which personally I’m not a fan of, but ymmv”

“Such a great spot with the cutest hidden patio in the back. Chad (one of the owners) was serving us and was so attentive and personable. He recommended the cauliflower bites, which were SO good. I usually find that cauliflower bites tend to be pretty small. But these were so plump and crispy, which came with a sweet but not too sweet Korean glaze. It was also on top of a creamy sauce of some sort to balance out any of the sweetness. I also got three tacos: grilled halibut, fried calamari and the fried shrimp. They were all cooked perfectly, however the calamari one was definitely my favourite. I do wish the tacos could have a bit of variation in the toppings, but that would be my only note! My friend got the lamb burger and sweet potato fries. I didn’t try her burger but she ate it all so I can only assume it was yummy. I definitely snuck a few of her fries and they were fried perfectly. They also have some local beers on tap which is fun! Next time I will definitely have to try their fish and chips. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area who wants great food with just as great customer service. *they also have great gluten free options as well*”

“Absolutely amazing experience! I ordered Chicken on the salad and on the rocks. Both dishes were perfect! I would highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Mediterranean cuisine. The customer service is wonderful. The quality of the food is fresh and tasty! If you like Mediterranean cuisine you MUST go here. I can't wait to go back for more ;)”

“Generous portion, very fresh ingredients, delicious. Fast service. My only complaint is that the salad was so big that the dressing was not enough (though I do love dressing more than the average person). I will ask for more next time. Took advantage of a special deal that was posted in store - very good price!”

“Queen Street eateries are many and varied but A&W (my initials) is my fast food breakfast spot. The young lady working the place solo was exceptional. Bacon and egger breakfast combo for me and the All Canadian breakfast for Sister Prime. Great coffee. The brief wait (again, the young lady was solo) was not an issue. Pleasant breakfast by the window for people and dog watching. I've taken lunch out of here too as one can never go wrong with A&W's grass fed beef. Would always recommend.”

“Great cozy spot located on Queen Street (close to Logan). Went for a family brunch and the menu did not disappoint. Imagine a fusion of Italian cuisine along with a breakfast touch. We had a variety of dishes from the Breakfast Pie to Classic Eggs Benedict. If you and yours are in the area, brunch is available u til 3pm in Sundays.”

“4-5 Star, but 5 star for the google rating. Server “Shelby” gave great service. I came for the advertised AYCE wings and polished off 3.5lbs before I had to leave. Wings came out hot with an abundant amount of whichever flavour I asked for (If I went back id ask for less). The only real issue I had was the wait time between servings, it was anywhere from 10-20 minutes. On a busier night I’m sure there is a seating time limit too, but like I mentioned, great service.”

“I love Quesada! The ingredients are mostly not cooked in oil and there are very few additives. Vegan and vegetarian are easy options. They have so many toppings that are always fresh and the portions are very generous! The churros are so delicious and the staff are always friendly! Highly recommend!!”

“Great find! My friends and I found a secret spot with an awesome patio for beer and cocktails for all our future hang out! Service was friendly and prompt! And the salmon, heavenly! Recommend! What more, we had all the fun with air hockey and pool right upstairs from the restaurant! Will visit again!”

“In love with their Italian deli sandwiches!! I made it a mission to go and try their sandwiches since i’ve seen them all over socials. They did not disappoint. I tried the italian trio which has capocollo, mortadella, prosciutto, roasted peppers, red onions, arugula, pesto and this amazing chili spread. All the ingredients were super fresh and i enjoyed the tangy & vinegary red onions in the sandwich! For the price ($15), their sandwiches are STUFFED with meat with veggies! I’m truly astonished by the size of this sandwich. Note they don’t really have a dine in area but they do have seats and a standing area if you decide to have a quick bite there. Really looking forwards to coming back and trying their other sandwiches!”

“Interesting concept. Bird box is found in the Lula Lounge. It has fair prices, great service, good atmosphere. The food came promptly. Chicken sandwich and Barria tacos were delicious.”

“Okay, so I’ve had my fair share of birria tacos and I really think this place does it best. The meat was perfectly seasoned, moist and packed with spices/flavour. On its own the tacos were fantastic but dipped in the consome it was the perfect bite - rich, juicy, and cheesy with a splash of freshness from the limes and the salsa. The portion was great and the service was quick and super friendly. Will definitely be back to try more things on the menu. OH! I can’t forget to mention the guacamole - you can always tell a good place apart from others when something as simple as guacamole tastes great!”

“The Pizza Capricciosa was delicious! The sourdough crust had the perfect amount of chew. Will definitely be back to try the other menu items!”

“I was told about this place by a friend and I must say absolutely amazing pizza. The owners were nice to explain the name and how it takes 72 hours for the dough to proof. Cooked in a wood fired oven absolutely amazing pizza. I want to go back and try more of their pies give them a try”

“A nice and convenient place to grab some pasta. Wanted to always try pastucci and was so excited when I got the chance. The location is located in 777 Bay st. It is inside a mall which has a variety of other stores like rexall and LCBO making this a very convenient spot. The pasta comes in three different sizes (pictured below) and each size has a different price. They have different options of either building your own pasta and also some premade pasta options. With either option you can pick the type of pasta you want. We got the medium carbonara pasta with extra olives on the side. In addition, we got the build your own pasta box. We got the fettuccini pasta with Alfredo sauce. In the build your own pasta option, you get 3 choices of vegetable toppings for free. I got the crushed red pepper, jalapeño and olives. You also get to pick from 3 types of cheese to go on the pasta. I got the grated Parmesan cheese and it complemented the pasta really well. Lastly, you can pick a variety of meats to go with the pasta, however, it is at an additional cost. We also got the white chocolate with blueberry cheesecake. It was simply delicious and was a great end to the meal. I thought that both dishes were amazing. We did decide to take it home and by the time we got there it was a little dry. Overall: if you do plan on going to pastucci regardless of the location make sure to check if they charge for the kind of pasta. It was not mentioned on their menu and the staff at the location didn’t mention it to us either. We ended up paying an extra $3.00 for the fettuccini option. Wasn’t too happy about that as it wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Although it was good, I wouldn’t recommend it as the pasta at the end comes to around $17.00 which is pretty expensive and it might be worth while to go to a restaurant and get better pasta for the same price. I was happy that I gave this place a try, however, I don’t think I will be coming back again. I would suggest people to give this place a try and make their own decision.”

“Tried the delivery as it is always motivating to give new restaurants a taste! Was not disappointed at all with the feast for two. The milkfish and squid was moist and delicious.. they went perfectly well with the abundant assorted seafood and vegetables. Also, the portions were definitely more for 4 people than 2. The order is definitely worth the value!”

“First time going to this restaurant for brunch. The place itself is nice, décor is nice. We went on a weekend during brunch, so it was not that busy so the vibe was very relaxed and calm- obviously would be different during dinner time. The hostess was very nice, and the staff are all polite. Servers could speak up a little louder, it was hard to understand at times. The mac and cheese was delicious, and my partner liked his lobster and said the steak was cooked perfectly. We did have a hair in the butter sauce which was replaced right away- an offer for a dessert or something would have been appreciated considering the price we paid. The little burgers were not all that, had better else where. The bathroom area is super dark, and only one stall for the ladies bathroom- which is not a problem for a slow brunch day, but I could imagine on a busy dinner night how annoying that would be. We had bottomless mimosas for 30 bucks which is a reasonable price for brunch. The manager at the end of our meal came to our table to touch base which was nice and appreciated. Overall, it was a good experience to try but nothing to bring me back so far.”

“Ordered the beef brisket and classic sandwich. The beef brisket was amazing!! The meat was tender and juicy. Hit just the spot. Also, can’t go wrong with the classic sandwich. Buns were soft and the meats were of high quality. They also have many ice cream flavours to choose from. Decided to go for the ice cream flight to test multiple flavours. Matcha cookies and cream is a must have!!”

“I came her with my colleagues for lunch. Oh my goodness! Is all I can really say because the food, service and vibe was so delicious and beautiful! The owner did an amazing job with this place of comfort and delectable food. I had the Smoked meat sandwich which was just succulent, big and savory! Came with perfectly cooked fresh cut fries, a lovely coleslaw and juicy pickle! I also ordered the Big Smoke Turkey Club to go since my colleague ordered it and it's just massive with a fresh onion bun! All the food is MADE IN HOUSE! If you want fresh, cozy comfortable vibes, this is the place to go!!”

“We went for dinner and ordered the Dragon Party Tray for two. The staff was very professional and friendly and the service was very quick. While we waited for the tray the waitress brought us hearty miso soups. The presentation was superb and all of the assorted sushi, sashimi and rolls were delicious. The stars of the show were the Green Dragon Rolls and the Gold Dragon Rolls. They were very tasty and perfectly seasoned with spicy creamy sauce. The decor was nice and all the chefs were wearing authentic traditional Japanese clothes. Even the washrooms were very clean and stylish. Would definitely recommend based on our dine-in experience.”
