“I did this course a few years ago and immediately did another course after it. It's an amazing workout to get you in shape, and Moses is extremely welcoming and does a good job catering courses to people of all skill and activity levels. I did another Boxing course after his once because it was free of charge for me, and dropped out half way through because it didn't come close in comparison to New Line. If you want to genuinely learn boxing this is the place to be. But if you also just want a workout routine that will push you and make you mentally and physically stronger, this is also the place for you.”

“I have been going to Siam Kickboxing since last May! My favorite gym ever! All the trainers are awesome, you can learn lots of kickboxing and Muay Thai techniques even in the fitness class! I love coming here. Always got a great workout and feeling relaxed and happy after. It is a very fun and friendly environment too!”

“Best gym ever. Great use of space. They've got a bit of everything and it's never crowded in there. It definitely feels less like a big chain gym and more of local gym vibe. You get to know the regulars, which makes you feel at ease. I've since moved (which was no hassle to get out of my contract btw) and def miss it. Everything was awesome here. Lots of fun perks like weekly flavored water, free fruit day (not pizza), and stuff like that.”

“I have a fairly extensive backround in exercise and working out so I have never been to picky about where I work out. Planet fitness has a few cons, such as no barbells outside of the Smith machines and the dumbells cap out at 75lbs. Other than that there is not a single complaint to be made. For $11 a month that price cannot be beaten, and the quality of the machines and equipment is pristine. The staff are awesome, and will help modify your workouts to fit their equipment. Finally, their TRX jungle gym is the nicest I have ever seen.”

“I have been practicing yoga for a few years, at several locations and with many teachers, nationally and internationally. I have to say that Matt Yausie is one of the most inspired and inspiring teachers I know, with a contagious enthusiasm and passion that comes across in every class. I was lucky to encounter him as a substitute teacher at the University of Regina, and have since been a "regular" in his classes at Yoga Haven, Level Ten, and Hot Yoga Regina. His teaching is clear--with excellent cues--and yet always intuitive, challenging, energizing, and responsive to the students. He models calm focus and builds community in whatever space he is in. He also has a remarkable blend of expertise and humility, and his individual guidance and support has helped me grow considerably. The "Fire and Flow," use of music and/or silence, and other initiatives show limitless creativity. I highly recommend his classes and would choose him as personal trainer if possible! ”

“Lynn was my therapist. She was wonderful! Very knowledgeable. Took the time with me afterwards to show me some stretches and exercises I can do at home too. Clean, warm, comfortable. Open later but make sure you book in advance because the evening and weekends book up fast. Reasonably spruced.”

“At 38, I'm in the best shape of my life thanks to OPEX Regina! The workouts are for me, meeting me where I'm at. This individual design approach is particularly important to me as someone who experienced chronic pain and was very overweight.”

“Great equipment selection for any athlete or anyone off the street who wants to train. Amazing atmosphere with classes, 1:1 personal training, or just going in to train on your own. The proshop is always stocked with protein powders/bars, supplements, On Top Athletic Wear clothing and Adrenaline gear.”

“Regina spin studio in the vein of SoulCycle -- positive atmosphere, rhythmic exercise routines, and enthusiastic instructors. If this is what you're after, look no further. As a cyclist who enjoys spinning, these spin classes are a bit out there, it's basically bike dancing with some high rep, light dumbbell work thrown in because why not. I'd like to see more than two showers, and think that a 45-minute class is on the low-side for high-intensity cardio when you factor in warm-up and cool down. Maybe add some 60-70 minute classes?”

“Project Barre is by far my favorite way to get a sweat in! I always look forward to walking through the doors and being greeted with a smiling face and love the variety of the classes offered. I usually go 3 times a week and never find that there is lots of repetition in the classes and the moves are always fresh! It's also great that they offer both early morning and evening classes!”
