“Our tour with Ken on 3/29/19 was amazing!! If you want a more personal and private whale watching experience booking a tour with Spirit of the Orca is the way to go! Ken’s boat holds 6 people and is extremely smooth and comfortable to ride in. Ken’s knowledge of the whales in the area is excellent! He knew where the whales were that day and made sure we got there in time to spend over an hour and a half with them! It was an incredible experience! Highly recommend Ken and Spirit of the Orca!”

“This is a little park with a gravel, calm beach. No fee, no bathrooms. We went down at twilight. (The beach points away from the sunset, so that should not be a motivator for a twilight visit). This is good for a short stop/walk. It is just over a mile from downtown so it would make a good walk destination/half way point.”

“The mana is great! The facility is a little run down.”

“We spent a few quiet hours here. We timed the visit to low tide to explore the tide pools. The kids enjoyed the pools and also the exploration of the rocky beach, up to the lighthouse (even better views up there), then back to the parking lot then down to the beach for an hour or so. There is no fee box here so we bought the Discover Pass on our cell phone to cover the parking. If we were correct it looks like there is great cliff hiking up the hill even further. This is a good place for a slow afternoon. The views are outstanding.”

“Best resort I've ever been to. Mary Ann was very hospitable, the accommodations and setting was perfect, the breakfast was delicious, and the service was spot on. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else after staying here.”

“Love this place! Gorgeous property with rustic camping, lakes and trails, and a cool zip-line through the trees! I know they added some small cabins that we’ll probably try next time, but as a veteran, I love keeping it simple. And as a veteran, I love the mission of Ft. Liberty to serve those who’ve served our nation. And if you want to have fun off site, just let the owners know and they’ll get you connected. By the time you leave, you’ll feel like family!”
