“Sesame Falafel Sando was soooo delicious (best tasting falafel, arugula, sesame aioli, afjar sauce, pickled red onion on grilled potato sourdough)! The Yamwich (roasted yam, cream cheese, Monterey Jack, almond chipotle, sautéed spinach on grilled sourdough) was equally delish! The handmade seasoned chips were yummmm and so was the spicy dill pickle. Saving the bottle of Dilly sauce for my baby girl back home in Seattle 🥰. What an excellent, perfect takeout for trip to Banf NP!!!”

“Definitely have to start this review by mentioning the portion sizes in particular the Naan bread, very generous as you can see in the pictures I have posted. Stopped here with a co worker while working in town Glad we stopped I started my dinner with an order of the chicken pakora, it was quite flavorful and the chicken was still very moist, for a main I ordered the Lamb coconut curry with a side of small rice, now note I asked for the small, again I must reiterate the portions are huge here, it truly was a filling meal, you Definitely won't walk away easily from this restaurant. I also highly recommend an order of Naan, you won't be disappointed.”

“All I can say is WOW! Fantastic food! Very fresh ingredients and amazing combination of flavours. My fiancé ordered the chicken souvlaki and I’ve never seen her happier! I got the gyro with lamb and beef. I was pleasantly surprised at how authentic and delicious it was. We also got a box of onion rings (my personal fave) which didn’t disappoint!! Owner was very personable and offered fantastic service!”

“This was our second year in a row visiting Rustica for our anniversary dinner. Last year we had a phenomenal night, this year, however, was a different story. In 2022, every staff member went above and beyond by wishing us a happy anniversary (there is an option through online booking to select an anniversary as the occasion), providing a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, our server when quizzed was very knowledgeable about the different types of steak and the food was fantastic. Sitting outside was a beautiful experience with the amazing view over the valley. Overall we were made to feel very special and all involved went above and beyond. Given this experience, we decided to come back this year to celebrate our special day once again. In 2023, the menu was smaller, not one staff member wished us a happy anniversary (despite booking the same way as last year), and our server stood behind us instead of in front of us which made it awkward to communicate. On top of this, we each ordered a $60 steak and although the flavor was good, the steak came out lukewarm (not cool enough to send back, but not great either). We decided to sit inside this year due to it being a little chilly, and although we had about the best view possible from inside the restaurant, there were a few details that could easily be taken care of. The table cloth had a hole in it, the chairs are outdated, there were several dead flies around, the windows are noticeably dirty. Overall, the experience in 2023 was not what we had come to expect from 2022. With a few alterations, we feel this could be back to what it was.”

Beautiful location and the room was modern, clean and had great amenities (loved the Rocky mountain soap collection!) beds were very comfortable and the linens were very soft and high quality. Only wish that the rooms could accommodate long sized beds... The fire pits by the rooms were lovely and the blankets from the room were a great addition! Kids loved the giant swing as well! Great view from all the rooms. Will return soon.”

“We stopped in at the Rocky River Grill after spending a bit of the rainy morning at the local library. The restaurant seemed quite busy for a Tuesday after 1PM. We were seated relatively quickly, but did notice a number of tables that had yet to be cleaned off from past patrons. Our server was very pleasant and the service was quite quick considering that it was busy. My wife enjoyed her pickled Caesar, and I enjoyed the special spiked raspberry lemonade. Our meals were quite enjoyable as well. My wife found her BLT quite tasty, as was my mushroom chicken burger. The kids chose the cheese burgers with fries off of the kids menu, although the patties seemed similar to what you could pick up from the local grocery store frozen foods section, and tasted like it as well. Nonetheless, the kids liked it, so that's all that matters. The portions were also quite large for all of our meals.”

“We love Tim Hortons , I don’t drink any tea or coffee however I would love to have a London fog or chai tea latte from Tim’s. Our experience was really good here and went two days in a row while staying at yurts in Radius. Both days drinks and food was awesome. Only reason why I am giving 4stars is the family washroom wasn’t clean. Otherwise service was good and girls were awesome 👏”

“The atmosphere is really unique inside. It’s very old fashioned with stuffed wild animals on the wall. Reservations are a must. We went there on a Wednesday night and they were turning people away without reservations. We substituted chicken for some of the pork options. The chicken schnitzel was very good. It doesn’t say it on the menu but it’s possible. The French onion soup was good but a little small. The Black Forest cake was very yummy!”

“We stayed in a pet friendly room over the weekend and it was decent! I definitely don't think it was worth the price, especially with how small and outdated the room was, and the TV needed a major upgrade. The outdoor pool and cabana was awesome though, besides people leaving towels on chairs that they aren't currently using. Our pup enjoyed her little goody bag with some toys and a cookie :)”
