“Nice stop if you are in the area, but I would not recommend driving out of your way to get here. Don't go down Lighthouse Rd. Private Road at the end. There is a place to park just to the right of that road and a boardwalk up to the Lighthouse.”

“I don't like sand. It's coarse, and rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere, and this beach is full it!!!!! Other than that the water is really warm here in the summer, which is great to wash off the sand. Jokes aside, the beach got hit pretty hard by huricane Fiona. The old beach access is gone, it's been replaced with new stairs which are in good condition. But there's no ramp access if you need it. The old car park on the beach side is gone, so parking has been reduced at the beach.”

“Beautiful national historic site, and the bike rental is a nice perk to the nearby park. I did not go to the restaurant located inside, it did look quite fancy. I did rent a bike from them though and it was perfect.”

“This campground was perfect ! We originally booked in for 3 nights tenting and due to rain on the first night (and there thankfully being a free cabin) the owners upgraded us free of charge. The cabin was spacious with a Queen bed, a bunk bed, and futon (we were so thankful to have power also). The bathrooms were kept very clean for such a busy weekend, they sell ice and firewood which is always necessary for a weekend of camping. The staff were so nice and beyond helpful with any questions or requests. Will definitely recommend this campground and be staying here in the future ! Thank you for such a great stay”

“We had a great walk, trot, canter along the beach, with our wonderful guides; Cassie, Santana, and Dar-Lee. After making sure we could handle the horses, we went along a winding trail to the beach on a beautiful sunny day. The horses were well behaved, and our guides were very engaging. They also made sure we were safe and in control. Everyone at the barn was very helpful, very nice to meet Amber and Carson, and all their well trained, calm horses. It was a wonderful experience for my daughter and I, she's always dreamed of cantering on the sand by the ocean, a dream come true!”

“The caretakers are wonderful people who care about the community and the history, I can't thank them enough for helping me locate my grandmother's grave. Almost 74 years after she passed, she has a marker, now to get a headstone. The history behind the church and cemetery makes it more than just a beautiful site.”

“While visiting PEI on vacation, we wanted to do something different and since we liked hiking this seemed ideal. We were surprised to see so many trees down from Fiona, however all fallen trees were cleared from the trails. We saw lady slipper orchids amongst the fallen logs and American bald eagles taking the path along the river, and returning via the shortcut. Bring bug spray!”

“Well maintained lighthouse with museum. Friendly service in the store. No more ice cream here though. Very well maintained bathrooms. We also saw seals off the shore below. Be sure to visit if not just to say you were at the eastern most point on the island. Also a 10 min drive to North Shore (Tuna docks) and Basin head.”

“Had an amazing day on the farm. It is definitely a must do on PEI. So many animals to interact with! Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. If I lived closer I'd get a season pass. They also have a wonderful cafe and gift shop. I just left and I can't wait to go back!”

“Fantastic owner, a beautiful, lightening atmosphere. I'm visiting, but such a great addition to the island. Offers date nights which is $25. Fabulous spot right off the roundabout, I am always in awe seeing it lit up at night.”

“Went for the Horse Racetrack for the first time and really enjoyed our experience. Staff is very friendly and was able to give us a crash course, we ended up winning our first race! They have a small casino section, didn’t really bother to enter the space. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and they even offer all you can eat dinner! For around $40/ person. Good experience!”

“Perfect, small but awesome ski resort with a dozen or so short little runs, greens, blues, and a couple of steep supposedly blacks. A great afternoon or day at a push, well run, well groomed. Could maybe do with a T bar lift as I can see the one lift being busy at peak times. Definitely a big asset to the island fun and sports.”

“We didn't know what to expect from the tour, but we really loved the look of the building and thought it was worth checking out. We got a tour from Hannah and she was such a great guide -- she had so much interesting info about the history and architecture of the house, as well as being super enthusiastic and engaging (we particularly liked the guessing games for all of the old gadgets in the house). If you have 30-40 minutes to spare, I highly recommend checking it out.”
