“Host and hostess were super friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond what I expected! The TV / sitting room / breakfast room had a comforts feel and the view was spectacular. I stayed one week and returned for two more nights the following week. Very clean and conscientious owner. Nice area but good security system too just in case. I brought in take out food on the second visit to take in the view while dining!! Just a few minutes to a lot of amenities. (Including shopping and restaurants. Only 35 minutes to Mount Washington depending on road conditions.”

“Incredible views! The tide pools are really something to behold. Very well maintained facilities as well. Definitely worth a visit! The campgrounds are clean and level, great for tent camping and RVs alike. There is also an area for RVs to empty their water tanks and fill back up again (though there is a $5 discharge fee, only payable with loonies and toonies, so make sure you bring change.)”

“Ross and Nancy were cordial hosts with excellent suggestions for what to do and where to eat. Nancy's delicious and generous breakfasts left us satisfied until supper. Our accommodations were excellent. If anything, extravagant for just two of us (not that we are complaining). The B&B unit would be ideal for a family of four to six. Cooking facilities in the unit were good. Royston House borders a pleasant walking trail along the shore of Comox Bay. We rode our bikes along the pathway into Courtenay and enjoyed it very much. Royston House is located just south of Courtenay away from from the hustle and bustle yet close to dining options and the action.”

There's not much to say about the room or the place, other than unfortunately the room stank of cigarettes which made it an unpleasant experience, and we had to air out the room for hours before closing it to sleep.”

“Adrianne and Rob are the most gracious hosts. We found this gem last year in July and didn't hesitate to book upon our return to the island. Staying in the floral room that has a luxurious 4 piece bathroom and walk in closet. Delicious hot breakfasts and beautiful grounds so tranquil for practicing Tai Chi. The wrap around balcony adds to its charm and ample seating to read, play the guitar, snooze or talk. Clean, quaint and cozy just a wonderful home away from home.”

“Great space and beautiful landscaping. Everything was new and well maintained. The bathrooms were the cleanest I've ever seen at a campsite.The staff were very friendly and the customer service was top notch. We tented here and the only thing holding it back was the size of the sites for tenting. They are a bit on the cozy side once you add a vehicle. You could park outside the site but it wasn't convenient for us. Also note that the spots for the tent are raised platforms filled with sand. They are perfectly leveled and free from bumps but if the footprint of your tent is any larger than 10x10 it might not fit.”

“We rented the sheltered picnic area for a summer party & appreciated how clean & spacious it was with lots of picnic tables. The ocean view was superb & close to the beach. This is a very popular recreational fishing spot with a convenient boat launch nearby. It is possible to see whales & other sea life in these waters. The restrooms were clean & there was plenty of parking for our group as well as other visitors. We would definitely come here again!”
