“My husband and I came here in 2019 on our honeymoon so it was suiting we brought our baby girl to one of our favourite places on the island! A place where I feel connected to my dad and our shared love for classic cars! In 2019, we had the honour of meeting Kevin but in 2020 he sadly passed away. This trip, we had the honour of meeting his son Greg who was so generous and let us in to tour the museum before it opened for the season! If you enjoy antiques and classic cars, this is a MUST SEE on the island!”

“Whether you go in the summer months or winter for a snowshoe hike you'll have a pleasant experience with it's beautiful views and easy trails. Visiting for a session with the park interpreter is a bonus if you're looking to learn the history of the area. The only negative is the lack of somewhat modern bathroom facilities which isn't the end of the world but note worthy”

“Stunning displays and views! This centre is laid out in such a way that you always feel like you are looking outside. They have a beautiful path you can hike on outside, just be aware that it starts out fairly accessible (wide, well maintained but with a gravel surface) and transitions to uneven gravel steps and steeper slopes, until it finished with a “trail” hike back up (narrow dirt foot path with roots along a steep slope). You could always turn back and go to the wider path. This isn’t a knock against the path - I personally thought it was beautiful and nice to see all the different types represented in one adventure, however if you have mobility challenges it concerns be aware ;)”

“This is a part of Alberta's and Canada's history that should not be missed if you are in the area. The museum has several displays about the history of the NWMP/RCMP that are informative and eye opening. There are also several displays that demonstrate how these men lived and worked in the rugged western frontier. If you go take the time to take in the musical ride. Though smaller in numbers they do a good job demonstrating the skills the mounted members needed to learn and demonstrate to be on the Musical Ride.”

“Very touching testimony of the town to its early departed from the Megantic train tragedy. The image of the star-shaped silhouettes, echoing the 42 missing people and the cultural history of the town now honors their memory. Flowers and herbs surround the path and explanatory descriptions accompany the visitors. Moving experience.”
