“We chose a site with 3 separate camping spots which was perfect for our group. It had 4 fire pits so we used onr as a communal cooking area. There was an outhouse to be used. The site is unmaintained so everin must be taken out. Part of our group ventured down the trail but didnt get to the falls. Only down side and it is a doosy is the flys. Big black flys. Will definitely go back maybe when the weather cools down a bit.”

“Don't be turned away by the RV graveyard you drive by when you turn down the road. This place is amazing. The spots are tight but have full service along with free wifi. There is a beautiful clear river out back that is amazing for wallowing in like a hippo on a hot day. The lobby has a small shop which has ice if you need it. The lots are all partially shaded but your RV will still cook during the summer. The older lady at the desk was amazing, friendly and helpful. The other people their acted like longtime friends and helped us out more than once. Overall a great experience.”

“We make sure to go to manning as a family at least once a year. This last time was amazing! We stayed in a cabin for three nights, it was newly renovated and was not advertised as such. It was a very nice surprise! We enjoyed the pool many times, went for snow walks, skied, spent quality time with our family and tubing. The staff are all helpful and friendly. Sandy (I hope I got her name right) in particular stood out for our family. She was amazing with my scared five year old son at tubing and went out of her way to ensure he had fun. She was so friendly and took time out of her day to make him feel special and leave having had a good time.”

“Thank you so much for an amazing visit! The kids had an absolute blast and we made lots of fun memories. The campsite is really well cared for and staff were ready to help with any problems or questions. The family-friendly vibe was delightful and the location between the beach and the co-op store made for a stress-fee camping experience. The sites are very close together and there were lots of families, so it was definitely bustling, but we found all the other campers to be chill and considerate, and the quiet hours were respected.The bay at low tide on a sunny day is a slice of paradise. As an Aussie I didn't find the water warm, but it was crystal clear and refreshing on the hot days. The sand was soft and clean. If you wanted to be deep in nature and away from people, this might not be the right place for you but it was perfect for us with 2 small, busy, curious kids. We really look forward to coming back as soon as we can.”

“The campsite was clean, spacious and very grassy. Great place to pitch your tent! No privacy between sites but all the other campers were courteous and kept it quiet on a Friday night. The shower facilities were clean and had nice hot water. Although it's paid showers, $1 for 7-minutes is more than enough. Friendly staff at check-in.”

It is mostly set up for and visited by large RVs even where there isn't hook-ups. There are nice tenting spots but they are not very level and are close to the highway.”

They have an awesome little place on the river and there is tons to do in the area. 20 minutes by bike to the farmers market in town (twice a week), hiking, lakes, river floating, etc. They have the best bathrooms we have ever seen. “A great campground. Very clean the lady is strict with rules but incredibly fair and looks after the place great person for the job. Clean environment. Deer's around the park in late summer bears. Which the park warns everyone. 👍 But hate to say this the town are cold toward strangers. So forget restaurants buy food in the grocery store and go back to your camp. The camp 4 stars the town 1 star. May God invade these people lives.”

“Stayed at the Ridge View log cabin. What a wonderful experience!!! The neighbours were friendly, the owner stopped by and we had nice chats. Really great atmosphere. Awesome BBQ. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, incredibly clean, stocked kitchen supplies and a beautifully laid out space. The bathroom was spacious and had ample towels which was awesome and the robes added a luxurious element. The bed was super comfy. Highly recommend.”

“The pool was so much fun I just kept going on the water slide over and over again! The pool is also heated which is nice later in the evening. Having a playground, a pool and a convenience store with ice cream and kid snacks is great for a family with younger kids. And an outdoor public barbecue! Great customer service and a babysitter”

“I love this place, I’ve been coming here for years. They update the playground equipment each time. It’s a quiet campground. It’s a really fun place to swim for the kids too. The staff are wonderful, one year the kids got tractor rides and the owner came to our campsite and played guitar and sang an original children’s song for us. One year I lost a diamond earring on the playground and they found it and kept it safe at the office for me. I also like that it’s close to lots of other great places for day trips and many restaurants and coffee shops.”

“What a gorgeous campground! It's close to the highway so there's road noise but at night it gets very quiet. Lady at the front desk was super nice and friendly. It's very tight getting around but only because they've preserved as many pine trees from the grove as possible. Love being around so many trees.”
