“The park is very clean and green. Our spot #5 was perfectly level. We didn't have to do anything extra. The picnic tables are uncomfortable and there is no possibility of a handicapped person joining us at the table. Very disappointed there was no wifi in this day and age and for the price we paid. The breaker kept blowing even when we only had the air conditioner running and nothing else. 8 times in 2.5 days. I liked how the sites are staggered so we don't have to see the neighbors sewer hoses while we ate. It is way over priced compared to other parks in the area that have more amenities. It was also very confusing between Wiley Campground and this one. Maybe a separate website for each. "Not Wiley Campground" doesn't really help on the bottom of the confirmation email. Our friends went to Wiley automatically.”

“Friendly welcome from Deborah with lots of helpful information provided on the local area, what to do, where to visit, discounts on local restaurants etc. which was brilliant, and so professional. Well looked after grounds with a communal fire area that is prepared for you in advance by the owners and a walking route signposted to town. Clean facilities too and good WiFi, we were only there for 1 night but no complaints at all.”

“Our party of 4 had a fantastic late June stay at Sunset Point in Minaki (Trailhead and Boathouse cabins). Alan and Margaret are super friendly and made the entire experience enjoyable, from booking the suites, to orienting us to the fishing spots, to picking us up and dropping us off at the landing during arrival and departure times. On our arrival evening, Alan took us for a tour of the local waters, which certainly helped put us "on the fish" and helped us avoid reefs and other troubles on the water! We fished for 2 full days and caught our limit of walleye each day, well before lunch! We even netted a 54" Muskie (right near the lodge)... quite by accident. But it makes for a great story. With the excellent fishing, great hospitality, and comfortable/quiet cabins, we look forward to returning to Sunset Point Minaki in the future. Thanks again for a great experience and memories!”

“Mom and pop owned. Couple lovely, sites a good size and quiet. Careful when driving into or through town of Edson as there are plenty of cameras... stick to the posted limits. Away from main highway unlike RV park you pass to get to this one.”

“Welcoming, friendly stay from start to finish. Lisa and Vic are great hosts and are creating a unique spot on the Cabot Trail. Cape Breton Island is a one-of-a-kind experience and staying on the beach at Point Cross RV Park captures the best of everything. We especially liked watching the kids next door catch fish right off the beach. We are from Maine and love Atlantic Canada. This RV Park is worth finding. Dottie & Mike”

“Decent area, fairly spacious overnight site. Friendly workers. Washroom facilities for the overnight area are still under construction, so you have to walk up to the shop. Would have been a great stay if we had been warned about the horrifying Tick problem. We have spent years living and travelling through Ontario and Yellowknife and never have we faced what can only be described as a severe infestation of Ticks the way we have after one night here. Our dogs are completely covered with them and we've already removed hundreds. If you plan to stay here, make sure your pups have tick treatments ready, and stay off the grass.”

“Stayed here with some friends and had a great experience. The lady who runs this location is so friendly, super helpful and always available. The park office is packed with things you may need for your stay (sunscreen, batteries, water jug, ice, firewood, etc). We are within walking distance to the beach, to flush toilets, drinkable water and the park office. Was a very quiet area, even with every spot filled, no one made excessive noise. Plots are also a really good size. Only downside is how far the campground is from the closest town- about a 45min drive.”

“We were traveling the Cabot Trail and decided to stop here for our second night. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There has been much work done to revive this campground that had been unused for a number of years. The washrooms are new. The owner is planning to address the issue of water pooling on the floors. The laundry area was clean and we did a load while there. Machines worked great. There was wifi in the laundry area but that was about it. The owner is aware of this issue and trying to extend the range. We did require wifi so we simply went to the laundry room and sat in the chairs provided. This is a pet friendly campground. The washrooms could have been cleaner. Overall, this is a work in progress and has potential to be a great campground.”

“Access to the park is easy. It is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. The Parameter roads are gravel and big rig friendly. This park is right in the city so groceries etc are five minutes away by automobile. Check in was quick and easy and the clerk was very pleasant.. Our site, 10, was a pull through that was more than long enough for our rig and towed. It was a level, graveled site with a table but NO fire pit. The table sat on a concrete pad but not big enough to be considered a patio. Services were to the left rear and many sites had dual sewer connections. One further forward so one wouldn't have to add or stretch hoses. Be sure you have a water pressure regulator. The system is listed as having 100psi. It could cause some damage to your plumbing if you don't. It is clearly posted and you are informed at check in. Internet was included in the cost of the site. It worked well enough for e mail and light browsing. We found only one OTA TV. Satellite could be difficult because of the trees. Distance between sites is good for an urban park but there is no foliage for a break The park features grass between sites, large trees and planters with beautiful flowers scattered about. This park was clean and well groomed. We did not use the free showers or flush toilets but they were very clean. The office offers a good book and CD exchange. We paid $39.00 per night with no discounts and we feel that we received good value. We would return if in the area.”

“Great campground central to Canada's parks. We had a site with a shelter and plenty of space for two tents. The restroom/shower was clean and coin laundry was on site. Water spigots were conveniently located for non-hook ups sites. WiFi is provided. The staff was very friendly as were the other campers in this smaller campground. I would camp their again for sure.”

“This is an amazing campground lots of VR and the views aren’t the best in the vaping spot that have services, but if you get the no service spots those are by the river and you’ll have an epic time there. You can hear the river all night and it’s extremely pleasant. The sun sets right on the other side of the falls so your in for an epic view at sunset. Prices are affordable and very reasonable. Very clean campground with washrooms, toilets and laundromat.”

“We booked a site for our camper. Overall the site was nice, the pond was good. Our boy really enjoyed himself. We thought there would be trails for our atv, but everything was super muddy. Definitely not a place you can go trail riding with the kids. Other then that it was great. Our son definitely wants to go again.”

“Absolutely love visiting Tobermory and surrounding area. harmony acres is in the right location. The staff are awesome, helping us upgrade our campsite and checking in on us to make sure our visit was excellent. I loved seeing the changes to the campgrounds and the area in the last 5 years. I am hoping to make this a yearly camp trip now and will defiantly be booking again with Harmony Acres in the future.”
